Limmu Kossa, a historic coffee-growing region in Ethiopia, is known for producing some of the world's finest coffees. With 60% of Ethiopia's coffee production coming from this area, the region has long been a hub for coffee cultivation. Farmers typically own small plots, between two to three hectares. The challenge here has been standardizing quality, but thanks to Gidhe’s efforts, the area has seen astonishing consistency.

Coffee cherries in Galeh slowly ripen under the shade of old trees, benefiting from various microclimates. By experimenting with three microzone batches (Betella, Suki, and Sinsino), distinct flavor profiles were isolated. The result is a coffee with vibrant red berry and raspberry notes, balanced with a smooth chocolate finish. This coffee is a testament to the hard work of local farmers and dedication to quality.
